Cram packed with stuff. Huge selection but it's very cluttered and junky. The clothing I was looking at was all quite worn and dingy. Not worth it for me. The checkout area was packed full from the floor to the counter and baby "stuff" and was very dark and creepy. The owner came in in reeking of smoke and was quite abrasive. Never going back.

They strip the high cost of clothes and filthy items and renew them for your family at a wonderful price !!!

WOW, all i can say is there are a lot of unintelligent people leaving reviews because i have been shopping here for 2 years and they are awesome. Their prices are BY FAR better than any other consignment shop in the area, and as for the JAKES review above LOL!!!! they are not a thrift shop! They are just named the thrifty baby. Thank god they buy things from people or i would be screwed! They do just like all the other shops like this do and buy/trade from their customers! And as for JEN, How dare you call the owner lying, rude and a thief! She is the most kind hearted and giving woman i have ever met. If Mindy told you your s**t was recalled then it probably was cuz she would have taken it if it wasnt! She dosent steal anything, check out the awards on her wall from the DONATIONS she makes to charity! Mindy is not a bad person and i have never heard her gossip about anyone. As a matter of fact i have heard her defend other stores and change subjects when customers are bitching about other stores. Actually i have heard her send people to other stores to help them out. Those reviews are fake and probably other jealous store owners or something. ANYONE who has shopped there knows Mindy is AWESOME. Go see for yourself!

I will NEVER go to this woman EVER again. Lying, thieving, woman that she is! I took her a crib that I KNEW was not recalled, a mattress, some clothes (handmade and specific ones I personally made) and then she called me telling me my crib was recalled and did I want to donate it. I told her I'd pick the crib up because I knew she was full of sh*t. Long story short I went to get my items back since I told her I was no longer interested in consigning with her and she said fine. I got there and she tried giving my crib back without the mattress OR hardware and claimed I never brought clothes...BS I had the paper with me that I had her signature and mine on it stating what I had brought in. She made some poor excuse for forgetting and then got my things. I've heard of others dropping items off and she tells them they are too dirty or recalled and asks if you want to donate them and then she turns around and sells them for full profit. I mean seriously....if you have to be a crook to get money that's sick and sad to take advantage. Not only that but her disrespectful gossip about other consignment shop owners in the area was EXTREMELY unprofessional in my opinion. You don't rudely gossip in front of your customers about someone's business.

This shop is poorly run. The women in there (no clue who is an owner and who is just a sales associate) Are rude.
Also, they may want to look up what the term "thrift shop" is. This place is clearly consignment. The prices are high and also they buy things from customers instead of taking donations (what a thrift shop is). These women are not very bright. And I agree with what other people said about how they need to learn how to treat customers.

We just went into this shop and all I can say is those ladies are RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! The second I walked in the door I got a nasty look from the sales girl (I assume because my two year old was walking in not in a stroller. I was also wearing my daughter in a carrier.
The first thing I looked at was two ikea stools. The same women who gave us the look quickly stated "those aren't for sale yet" in a b***y tone. Ok great, not a problem. My two year old was looking at helmets and playing cards and picking them up. That lady was watching him the entire time. I had picked up 3 things and told my son we needed to go because he couldn't be touching things here (back home we have a consignment shop and they encourage the children shopping with their parents to play with the items. The items there are 10x better than this thrift shop) The same women rang me out. Another women came over and commented how my 4 month old looked "squished" in her carrier. Actually she's in a carrier that the best of the best and is designed to prevent hip dysplasia (unlike those God awful crouch dangling baby Bjornes.) The women was so rude thinking she knew what she was talking about. I told her I've done the research on the best carriers and she should google it. I left and will NEVER be back. I regret spending any money there at all. Those women need to educate themselves and learn how to treat customers.

This is the best place ever. i was greeted at the door and they have tons of awesome stuff super cheap. I have been to several other shops like this and feel stupid for haveing spent way more than i should have for stuff i could have gotten here cheaper! To the person with the negative review you must have went in a long time ago because i have been going there for almost a year and have NEVER had a problem!!! As far as nasty talking people they were probably customers or something because i dont see the owner as being that way at all! Everyone should give this place a chance, you will love it!

The owner was SUPER friendly and the shop was very neat and organizied, i dont know where these other people giving these reviews are shoping but it certianly wasnt the thrifty baby! Also, most stores like this are not like macy's anyway... they have tons of stuff coming in and out all the time. The prices were by far the best of any of the store in the area and we have been to i think all of them lol! All i can say is go and see for yourself befor you judge based on someones review, you wont be sorry! I LOVE THE THRIFTY BABY AND WIL BE BACK!!!!

I keep trying to give this place a chance. The first time I came in, it was a total mess and I figured it was because they were rearranging or something. So I waited a month and came back. Total mess again. Waited, came back. Still, there is stuff everywhere, its like they take in more stuff than they can handle with their space. Its hard to walk around in there, let alone find anything. Their prices seem to be fair, but its not worth the headache. The last time I came in there was a group of women gossiping and just being downright nasty right in the main space of the store, so my husband and I had to navigate around them-which with as jam packed as the store is- it was difficult to do. Im assuming one of the women was an employee or the owner...either way... It was just all around unpleasant to be in there.

I love the Thrifty Baby. You have to keep in mind that it's second hand product - it's not all in mint condition. The clothes aren't stained, the store looks awesome (especially after a recent overhaul), the staff is awesome and the prices are great. It's the only place like this that we shop for our twins.

Visited this shop with my wife and found this store top notch. Prices were half the price other places were charging. We bought clothes on this trip and were more than satisfied with the cleanliness and styles they have. They actually had clothes that were not soiled like other shops we visited before coming here. Staff was very friendly and helpful in finding what we were looking for. Wish we had come here first instead of wasting time at others !!!

This is poorly run and the organizing (or the lack there of) is terrible. I wish it were better as this is the closest kid's consignment shop for me and I shop pften. I've been in several times with promise of a return phone call and nothing. I will not step foot in this place again. The cleanliness of the store and the clothes leaves a lot to be desired.
